Daniel Deusser and Equita Van t’Zorgvliet (Cassini I) did it again and bested a field of top riders to claim their second win at Royal Windsor Horse Show yesterday. Following their win in day one’s Bahrain Pearl Stakes, the pair bested a list of ten riders in the jump off as last to go as they stopped the timers faultsfree in 35’51 to win the Kingdom of Bahrain Stakes for the King’s Cup event. Home hero Robert Whitaker and Catwalk IV (Colman) settled for runner up position ahead of USA’s Kent Farrington and his speedy Creedence (Lord Z) who’s having a successful comeback after several months off due to his leg injury. Daniel Deusser was congratulated by her Royal Highness Queen Elisabeth personally.
