The third leg of the 2018/19 European series of the Longines FEI World Cup ended yesterday with a German win in Verona.
With a 16 riders long jump off, the riders went tinto top gear for the jump off where last to go, Stephex Stable’s rider Daniel Deusser and his talented mount Calisto Blue (Chacco Blue) flew from start to finish to stop the clock in 36’83, besting Niels Bruynseels and Gancia de Muze’s time by just 0’20 tenths to claim the win.
The silver medallist at Tryon, Martin Fuchs and Clooney (Cornet Obolensky) completed a hard fought for podium in Verona.
