For third year in a row the American riders claimed the win in the coveted American Gold Cup at Old Salem.
This time it was Molly Ashe’s big day who aboard her 10 years old D’Arnita bested a list of seven clear rounds over Alan Wade’s designed track.
Four rider and horse combinations managed to achieve a double clear but no one could improve Molly Ashe’s time of 36’76 that earned them the win ahead of her compatriot Margie Goldstein Engle and Royce (Cafe au Lait) who were just 0’11 tenths slower for runner up position. USA’s Mattias Tromp and Quinta (Quidam De Revel) completed a whole American podium in this world cup qualifier Grand Prix.
