The best eight teams after the first round on Friday in Barcelona, qualified for Sunday’s final round. All teams started again on a zero score on Sunday and faced a very difficult and big track proposed by Spain’s Santiago Varela.
The last line saw most of the faults incurred by the team riders and the winning team, Belgium with Otto Becker as chef d ‘équipe, ended with a final score of 12pts, on top of the standings as best 2018 team.
Team France who had a hard start ended as runner up nation ahead of team ireland who claimed 3rd spot on the podium.
Niels Bruyseels for belgium as first to go, jumped a superb clean round for his team. He was followed byy two of his team mates with a 12 pts score while Nicola Philippaerts secured the win for his team with a second clear round.
