It felt like a double victory for Switzerland in the Swiss Longines Grand Prix, endowed with 150,000 euros, with world number one Steve Guerdat, in the saddle of Venard de Cerisy on top followed by his fellow countryman Arthur Gustavo da Silva on Inonstop van’t Voorhof in runner up position. The top twelve after the first round qualified for the second round where Steve Guerdat set the winning time of 47’62. Third place went to the British speed demon Laura Renwick on Dublin. The great Swiss result was completed by Alain Jufer with Cornet MM, Bryan Balsiger with Clouzot de Lassus and Barbara Schnieper with Cicero in places five to seven.
